Project Story
Luton Police Station will undergo a window refurbishment across floors 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6, procured under the Procurement Hub framework. The building suffers from poor thermal performance in both the summer and winter, the project will significantly improve the working environment for the Police staff.
The station will remain operational throughout the works with a phasing strategy in place to minimise disruption to daily policing services. To achieve minimal disruption the Willmott Dixon Interiors team have
developed strong relationships with the users to maintain a constant level of communication enabling programme reviews throughout the project.
New blinds will also be installed following the installation of the new windows.
The project is the first in a programme to deliver similar upgrades across two other Bedfordshire Police buildings.

Testimonials
“It has been a great project for us, and your team have done amazing well to keep to the programme given the context of pandemic and all the challenges that has brought all the way through. I think our confidence and satisfaction in the quality of the project is best evidenced by the repeat business it has secured for you, with the contract being drafted for both HQ and Dunstable police station window replacements.”
