Willmott Dixon Interiors were announced winners at the BIM Show Live Awards held on Tuesday 27th February at the Boiler Shop, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
These awards are a unique set of awards honouring digital construction excellence through 12 categories, representing the full spectrum of today’s modern methods of construction.
Willmott Dixon Interiors won the award for the Doing it: Contractor category which looks for evidence of BIM adoption level and implementation on projects within the past 12 months.
The evidence included our approach to BIM and demonstration of projects where BIM was used and how it was delivered. This also showed evidence of 3D capabilities, levels of collaboration and information/data management.
The award recognises our achievements for implementing BIM on the CAT B fit out of 39 Victoria Street for the Department of Health which was procured via the Scape National Major Works framework, which has been superseded by the Scape National Construction framework
