Willmott Dixon interiors were highly recognised for raising the bar for considerate construction at this year’s National Site Awards Ceremony which took place on Friday 20th April at the elegant Plaisterers Hall, London.
The ceremony, attended by over 300 industry peers, recognises those sites registered with the Scheme that have raised the bar for considerate construction – with a focus on community investment, environmental enhancement, safety, workforce, and appearance. Winning a National Site Award is an exceptional achievement, and recognises only the best sites that have made the greatest contribution towards improving the image of construction across our industry.

Celebrating the win with seven awards
Willmott Dixon Interiors received Most Considerate Site Runner –up 2018 award for the refurbishment of Grade II listed civic centre in Dagenham into a new CU London campus for Coventry University. The project transformed the dilapidated building into a cutting edge learning environment for students undertaking a range of courses. In addition, the project also received Gold CCS award. This site clearly signified the pinnacle of considerate construction and has set the benchmark for others to follow.
Furthermore, the refurbishment of Imperial College Library refurbishment and Yalding Healthy Living Centre which was part of last year’s trainee challenge also received CCS Gold.
The two aparthotels in Bermondsey and Earls Court for Starwood Capital received Bronze awards as well as the CAT A fit out of 181 Queen Victoria Street for City of London.
These awards demonstrate our commitment to improving the image of construction through acts of social value, health and safety and quality delivery for our people and our stakeholders.
