Willmott Dixon continues Midlands expansion with launch of interiors capability

Following the opening of its new office in 2 Snowhill, Willmott Dixon is expanding further by introducing Willmott Dixon Interiors into the Midlands to work on the region’s growing number of fit-out opportunities,

It comes as Birmingham and the West Midlands continues to see a boom in construction and fit-out activity in both the private and public sectors, with tower cranes an ever more common sight in Britain’s second largest city.

Willmott Dixon Interiors is one of the UK’s biggest specialists in high-quality interior works up to a value of £30 million. The scope of its work includes brand rollouts and refreshes, plus property fit-outs and remodelling.

It works with large brands like Travelodge and is behind iconic projects like the fit-out of the Design Museum’s new home in Kensington and creating a new home for the DfE at the world-famous Old Admiralty Building, which is a backdrop to Trooping the Colour

In the Midlands, Willmott Dixon Interiors builds on an established track-record for fit-out and refurbishment.  The company fitted-out four floors at2 Snowhill as well as the refurbishment of L&G’s The Lewis Building, along with similar projects for Coventry University and Milton Keynes Council.

Starting with a core senior team, Willmott Dixon Interiors is looking to expand and create further employment opportunities as it takes on more projects.

“While we already have a proven track record of delivering first-class interiors works, this is our first opportunity to engage with the Midlands market directly.

“By utilising Willmott Dixon’s existing position within the regional market, we have identified a pipeline of potential projects and will now be seeking opportunities to develop our portfolio and grow our team.”

Willmott Dixon Interiors also provides a dedicated team for customers looking for smaller fit-outs up to £2 million, providing a service that normally wouldn’t be fulfilled by Willmott Dixon’s construction arm.

Willmott Dixon Interiors has worked on projects in the commercial, HEFE, science and technology, hospitality and healthcare sectors.
