Willmott Dixon Interiors were announced winners at last night’s Construction Investing in Talent Awards 2016.
The awards night was held at the luxurious Grosvenor House Hotel, London. The atmosphere on the night was buzzing as talent in the construction industry was being celebrated.
Willmott Dixon Interiors are pleased to have received an award for Best Corporate Responsibility Initiative. This award recognises the company that is taking the lead in improving the construction industry’s reputation and standing in its local community playing its part in a global issue.
Willmott Dixon Interiors are passionately committed to working with local communities. It’s part and parcel of our DNA. As such, each year we invest in a local community initiative that goes above and beyond our project delivery requirements.
This year, we set our management trainees the challenge to devise and execute a high impact community project that would help support local talent, promote careers in construction and involve all our staff members and supply chain partners. The challenge was part of a wider initiative to raise the profile on London’s shortage of construction workers, and also to help contribute to our long standing commitment to transform the lives of 10,000 young people by 2020.
