Spectacular performance in the velodrome

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERALee Valley VeloPark’s indoor velodrome hosted the inaugural 2014 CoreNet Global UK Chapter Property Cycle Challenge on 9 October 2014. Following in the footsteps of Olympic champions,  WDi were one of the fifteen teams that took on the challenge of riding the fastest 250m track in the world.

We were delighted that the WDI came second in the Team Combined Time Lap with an average time of 20.18 seconds and our own Tom Arkley came an 2nd in Individual Timed Lap with an amazing time of 18.52 seconds

Well done to all our team members for taking part and recording such great times.  Obviously it would not have been made possible without the avid  & loud WDI supporters!

All riders who took part in the  Cycle Challenge at the London Velodrome  successfully passed Level 1 of the centre’s four stage accreditation process.

The event in  support of LandAid raised monies to help disadvantaged young people across the UK.
