As part of our community investment strategy, we are offering 22 young people a place on an accredited training course on developing employability skills, from 25th – 27th November.
The ‘Good to Go!’ residential course has been developed in collaboration between WDI and experienced youth trainers at the National Communities Resource Centre, a charity which has a huge amount of experience of supporting people living and working in disadvantaged communities. Each young person on the course will have a chance to buddy up with a mentor from WD Interiors for 6 months following the course.
Over 100,000 people have gone through training at the centre and the feedback is usually extremely positive. It’s a unique chance for young people to meet others from across the UK and focus on personal development in a safe, friendly and beautiful setting.
Please pass on details of this training opportunity to any youth organisations or young people you know who may be interested.
If you want to find more, contact Poppy Potter, Sustainability Manager on 0207 634 9600. Alternatively, Jo Sharman at the National Communities Resource Centre (01244 300246) will be able to answer any questions on bookings, travel grants etc.
