Award winning sites: 2020 National Site Award Winners

Willmott Dixon Interiors continue to raise the bar for considerate construction as five sites achieve an award for Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) 2020 National Site Awards.

Winning National Site Awards are an exceptional achievement and recognises those sites that have made great contribution towards raising the standards in construction. This year, due to coronavirus the awards were announced digitally on 23rd September, via the CCS website.

Our 2020 award winning sites are:

  • Nursing & Midwifery Council – Headquarters (Gold)
  • Department for Health and Social Care, Quarry House – (Silver)
  • The Honourable Society of Middle Temple – Garden Court (Silver & Bronze)
  • Nhow Hotel – 250 City Road (Bronze)
  • Old Admiralty Building – (Bronze)

Considerate Constructors Scheme Chief Executive, Amanda Long said:

On behalf of the CCS, I would like to congratulate all 2020 National Site Award winners, with an extra special congratulations to the winners of the ‘2020 Most Considerate Site Award’.

Whilst it has been unfortunate that we were unable to host in-person award ceremonies due to coronavirus, we look forward to seeing how sites will be celebrating their achievements through social media and other communications.

Achieving any level of CCS National Site Award requires dedication, effort and commitment to raising standards of considerate construction and we are delighted that many CCS-registered sites have achieved the exceptional level of performance in order to receive a National Site Award this year.

The CCS awards are fundamentally about how the construction industry can achieve more in raising its standards so our local communities, the environment and those that work across the industry receive positive engagement before, during and after a construction project takes place. It is about putting the community at the heart of considerate construction, and we look forward to more construction activity performing to such high standards and even higher standards in the future.

Continuing our commitment

Willmott Dixon Interiors are incredibly proud of continuously being recognised for the CCS’s National Site Awards. The impact on our local communities, our people and the environment are of huge importance to our business. All our sites have been operating safely within government’s covid-19 site operating guidance.

Furthermore, Sustainability and Social Value is at the heart of our business and we are passionate about leaving the right sort of social, environmental and economic legacy.

In September 2020 we launched our new Group Sustainability Strategy. ‘Now or Never’ with a series of ambitious targets to achieve by 2030 which further demonstrates our commitment. Find out more here
