Willmott Dixon Interiors and supply chain partners raised more than £3,700 for the NHS through participation in the Brighton 10K.
In their fourth consecutive year completing the event, the Willmott Dixon Interiors team continued its support for My University Hospitals Sussex, the dedicated charity for hospitals across Sussex.
Eleven members of the Willmott Dixon Interiors team took part in the race, recording impressive times ranging from 40 minutes to 1 hour 19 minutes.
Funds raised will support life-changing research, as well as critical treatments and care.
The fundraising effort was supported by generous donations from Willmott Dixon Interiors’ supply chain partners, including Aimbec Carpentry, Alltask, AMD Group, Anderson Acoustics, Bancroft, Centrum Plus, D F Roofing, DMC Ash, Henleys Group, JPJ Installations, MCS, MGF Interiors, Paine Manwaring Ltd, Shaca Construction, Tournay-Godfrey and Troup Bywaters + Anders.
Willmott Dixon Interiors recently delivered a new Acute Medical Unit as part of a wider reconfiguration of the Emergency Department and Acute Floor of Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton. The project follows other significant work for UHSussex, including a modular refurbishment at Princess Royal Hospital and a state-of-the-art children’s audiology testing centre at Brighton’s Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital.
Emma Stephenson, assistant project surveyor at Willmott Dixon Interiors, who coordinated the company’s attendance: “My University Hospitals Sussex works tirelessly to improve patient experience beyond what NHS funding alone can provide. We’re extremely proud to continue our support for such an important cause.
“Taking part in fundraising events gives us a chance to step beyond the building site and give back to the communities we work in. We also couldn’t do this all without the generous support of our supply chain partners, so a huge thank you goes to them as well.”
My University Hospitals Sussex said: “This will help so many patients, families & NHS staff when they need it most. A massive thank you to Willmott Dixon Interiors.”
