WDI are pleased to have completed the refurbishment at Hewens Free School – providing 420 school places via the Scape Framework. The Scape framework goes from strength to strength with all members of the delivery, professional and client’s team benefiting from this unique delivery model.
The works include
the refurbishment and re-modelling of the existing school building including amendments to elevations (installation of full height double glazed doors and windows, render of facade, as well as new perforated metal panel cladding), modifications to landscape to front of school including new perimeter fence and entrance gates, demolition of two existing extensions and new landscaping in central courtyard. The facade has a link to Hewens College, expressing the trust’s aim in creating a through-school environment and encourage positive transition from primary to secondary.
