Project Story
The new world-class research facility provides a new home for the expanded University College London Institute of Immunity and Transplantation. Leading academics are able to collaborate closely to accelerate research into the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of some of today’s major diseases. Researchers are also able to be brought into close proximity with patients who take part in clinical trials.
Our works have created; General laboratories, containment Level 2 (CL2) specialist laboratories, containment Level 3 ( CL3) specialist laboratories with secure ventilation systems, clean rooms, cold rooms, tissue culture rooms, mechanical and electrical allowance of up to 50% over original Employers Requirements, modern office areas and breakout space.
The widely acclaimed building was delivered with £2.5 savings achieved during the design period and further achieved a BREEAM excellent rating.
