Project Story
Oxford Biomedica, a leading gene and cell therapy company, acquired the freehold of Windrush Court, a 72,000 sq ft building in Cowley near Oxford, in a move to create new space and improve operational
effectiveness and provide additional capacity to accommodate a planned growth in its activities.
Our works involved the refurbishment of disused laboratory spaces within an existing concrete frame building to create new facilities for medical research including HIV medicines. The fit-out works included the creation of new wet and dry laboratories, cellular and open plan offices, all spread out over 3 floors. Incoming services and drainage were successfully upgraded whilst existing connections were maintained.
