University of Warwick Interdisciplinary Biomedical Research Building

Situated within the University of Warwick’s Gibbet Hill campus, the new facility has created space in which up to 300 biomedical researchers can work collaboratively together to provide world class research into combatting diseases.

Space of a highly technical nature has been created and this includes;

General laboratories, chromatography and crystallography laboratories, primary culture laboratory, fluorescent microscope room, multiphoton microscope room, specialised M&E works including dedicated
laboratory drainage system and piped lab gases, stringent environmental controls, state of the art lecture theatre, administration offices and socialisation spaces.

The project had full BIM Level 2 integration with Cobie data to form part of the estate wide Facilities Management strategy. Further a demanding target of 50% offsite manufacturing was met.
