Willmott Dixon Interiors hosted its second Annual Reception and Ping Pong Tournament on Wednesday 7th October at Bounce, Holborn.
The event proved to be a success yet again! The evening started off with a glass of champagne and canapés on arrival to get everyone ready for a fantastic evening of playing ping pong, networking and enjoying the refreshments.
As the evening went on and the tournament kicked off, the
atmosphere in the room was electric.
We had two semi-finalists who played on the London 2012 Olympic table. Well done to our finalist Zamir Hirji from Ashley Hotels for taking home the prized vintage WDI Ping Pong bat and Harlaksh Singh who took the runner up medal.
We would also like to congratulate Claire Wilson from KSS Group for winning this year’s Robot Challenge with an amazing score of 54!
The evening also raised £450 for Bounce Alzheimer’s Therapy (BAT) Charity which helps a major research programme to be carried out by Northampton University into the proactive effects of Table Tennis into delaying the onset of symptoms in the early stages of dementia.
