Willmott Dixon appointed to fifth generation of the Scape framework

Willmott Dixon is extending its long-term relationship with Scape, one of the UK’s leading public sector procurement authorities, after it was appointed to the fifth generation of its national framework.

The company has secured a place on Lot 3. Valued at £2bn, the lot allows Willmott Dixon and its specialist fit-out and interior refurbishment company, Willmott Dixon Interiors, to work with public sector customers across England and Wales on projects, with a value range of between £7.5-£75m.   It continues a relationship between Willmott Dixon and Scape that started in 2006 and has seen the delivery of more than 575 projects to public sector customers during that time, totaling more than £5.7bn.

Key to this partnership’s success has been an absolute focus on customer value, local spend and social value, enabling a strong legacy to be created within each customer’s community.  During the previous Scape framework, running from 2017 to 2021, Willmott Dixon delivered a social return on investment of more than £350m, including more than 250 school visits and workshops, 1100 apprenticeship places, 350 charity weeks and more than 550 supply chain weeks.

Group chief executive Rick Willmott said “We are delighted to continue our long relationship with Scape through our appointment to the fifth iteration of their construction framework.

“Working together over the last fifteen years, we have delivered more than 575 projects for public sector customers that have been a catalyst for important regional growth across the country.  This has also allowed us to work with some fantastic local supply partners who have contributed greatly to our focus on achieving high impact social value within the communities we are active.   The new Scape framework will see this continue and become a platform in which we can drive forward our sustainability strategy, Now or Never, as well as our Collida Living platform to create a new generation of sustainable homes.”

Mark Robinson, group chief executive, SCAPE said
