Customers are set to benefit from BIM on their projects
More customers are set to benefit from BIM on their projects after Willmott Dixon Interiors became the first interior fit-out and refurbishment specialist in the UK to achieve BRE Global BIM Level 2 Certification for use across projects in all sectors.
" “Implementing BIM on fit-out projects is now a viable objective for clients and with our skill-set at Interiors, the challenge is no longer as great as it used to be.” - Amador Caballero, BIM Manager "
As more public and private sector clients seek to use BIM (Building Information Modelling) to enhance efficiency on their capital projects, Willmott Dixon Interiors has made significant investment to equip it with expert staff who are certified to provide BIM Level 2.
This enables WDI to have the standards, methods, procedures, expertise and infrastructure in place to comply with BIM level 2 and give customers the confidence that services are going to be delivered as they expect.
BIM is part of the Government’s strategy to improve efficiency in the construction industry by designing, creating and managing projects through virtual modelling of product and asset data. Willmott Dixon Interiors worked closely with BRE to ensure all processes and procedures align with PAS1192-2 as well as ensuring each business quality management system did the same.
