WDI win International award for pop up bar!

We are delightedSleep Bar to announce that our Sleep Bar has won the UK & International Pop Up Bar of the year category at this year’s Restaurant & Bar design awards. The awards ceremony took place last night at the Old Truman Brewery ceremony. http://restaurantandbardesignawards.com/2014/entries/winners

These international awards is the only event dedicated exclusively to the design of food & drinks spaces. Now in its’ sixth year it receives entries from the UK and world’s top architects, designers & hospitality operators.

Therefore we are delighted to have won this award in partnership with Nous Design and thank Tony O’Shea & Kieran Legg for all their hard work in delivering a project which offered a number of challenges; logistically very difficult, 100% freestanding and all to be constructed in 18 hours before the Sleep Conference & exhibition opened. Organisation of the suppliers throughout off-site prefabrication was key to the success of this project.

This award follows on from WDI’s and Scott Brownrigg’s ‘Shaded White’ room which won the Sleep Hotel 2012 Best Room Design and showcases our abilities to produce high quality finishes within restricted areas and short time frames.

Well done to all involved
