Willmott Dixon to accelerate town centre growth across Torbay by regenerating several sites in Torquay and Paignton
Torbay Council has set up a Regeneration Partnership that will see it work with Willmott Dixon and Milligan to accelerate ambitious plans to stimulate town centre growth across Torbay by regenerating several sites in Torquay and Paignton.
The partnership allows the council to draw on both company’s development management, funding and construction skills to take forward projects that have already been awarded Government funding. Willmott Dixon and Milligan were procured using Pagabo’s Developer Led Framework, with each company bringing significant track records of working with local authorities to deliver regeneration projects across the UK.
Our team of mixed-use construction specialists built Rochdale Riverside, one of the town’s most important schemes in a generation.
Developed by a joint venture of Genr8 and Kajima in partnership with Rochdale Borough Council, it includes 200,000 square foot of retail, leisure accommodation and a 520-space car park right in the town centre. Other features are a six-screen cinema, which will sit above the retail units.
Delivering 25 net-zero, social rented homes in Solihull
We’re currently onsite delivering 25 net-zero carbon (regulated) social rented homes in Kingshurst.
This project is the first phase of a wider regeneration masterplan for Kingshurst that will transform the village centre. The wider masterplan aims to provide both sustainable housing and modern retail space, centred around a brand-new community health and wellness hub.
