The scope of works for the Imperial College of London was a Cat A & Cat B refurbishment of their Library on the Kensington Campus. All services relating to this and other buildings required replacing, riser congestion demanded remodelling and this fast paced project provided much needed modernisation to enhance the student experience.
Completed project on a live site with limited Noisy Works hours.
Satisfied all stakeholders in this multi-tenanted live building
Full occupancy on all levels meant we had to create external scaffold access to the third floor.
Creating a positive client relationship that allowed a flexible approach to a complex delivery solution.

“…On behalf of ICL Estates Projects, a note to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the Willmott Dixon team, for the excellent progress made to date on the ‘CDT – Library Level 4’ project. Whilst there is still some way to go during the next month or so, to get the spaces fully completed and commissioned, the hard work and dedication shown by your team so far will enable the Users to commence their AV/FF&E fit-out in the next couple of weeks, as planned, which keeps us on track to open the new CDT centre for the start of term… I look forward to the remaining phase of works on the ‘CDT – Library Level 4’ project, now that we have passed through today’s key milestone, to enable us to achieve Completion in the coming weeks…”
