Willmott Dixon Interiors along with PRP cordially invite you to a Lunch & Learn Seminar on Health, Wellbeing and Commercial Buildings

WELLBEING is a hot topic across many industries at the moment – from fitness and gadgets, to diet and motivation. This statement is also true of the built environment; where the places we work are increasingly being designed and built with features that positively impact the health and wellbeing of occupants in commercial spaces. Whilst these outcomes are difficult to measure, research shows that staff productivity increases, absenteeism reduces and concentration improves when health & wellbeing principles are factored into key design decisions.

As businesses, it is important we engage with emerging standards, so that we are well placed to discuss these new and innovative concepts with our clients and end-users.

Willmott Dixon Interiors along with PRP, will be hosting a WELLBEING Lunch & Learn Seminar from on 25th August 2016 at PRP’s offices at 10 Lindsey St, Smithfield, London EC1A 9HP (second floor), where we will hear from some noteworthy speakers with direct experience in managing health & wellbeing principles in the built environment. Before lunch we will explore what designing for health & wellbeing looks like in practice, hear about the seven core themes for WELL Certified™ buildings, and relate some of these concepts back to real case studies and examples in the commercial sector.

“WELL is grounded in a body of medical research that explores the connection between the buildings where we spend more than 90 percent of our time, and the health and wellness impacts on us as occupants. WELL Certified™ developments can help create a built environment that improves the nutrition, fitness, mood, sleep patterns and performance of its occupants” – International WELL Building Institute
